Yunomi was thrown on the potter's wheel using iron rich clay from St Agnes, Cornwall. Decorated in a pale clay slip (liquid clay) to add texture whilst the vase was still leather hard. The exterios has been left raw which has allowed the flame to create unique patterns on the surface of the clay. The interior has been glazed in celadon glaze of fern green/grey which has a sutble crackle effect.
Fired to 1300 degrees C.
My potter's mark is on the base. The set in the picture is the one you will receive.
