This lidded pot was thrown on the potter's wheel in a single piece using iron rich clay from St Agnes, Cornwall. When it was leather hard the lid was cut off and the gallery trimmed to fit perfectly.
Glazed in traditional wood firing Shino glaze which displays more opaque white where it is thickest and an ombre of warm autumnal peach and tan where it's thinner. The beautiful speckle of the clay beneath shines through.
My potter's mark in on the base. The pot in the picture is the one you will receive.

Dishwasher safe but its kinder to hand wash.
