One to One Pottery Lessons
private one TO one Teaching
Tailored one on one pottery lessons with me in my beautiful garden studio in Somerset.
My one-on-one sessions are especially tailored to you, so before the class I will email you to chat about your goals as a maker, what your current skill level is and formulate a lesson plan from there.
This is for you if...
- You are a very beginner and have never touched clay before.
- You are a hobby potter looking to grow your skills.
- There is something you would like to improve on or areas you are stuck e.g. centering, can’t make a pot bigger than a thimble? (we’ve all been there!) or glazing.
- There is a specific project or technique you’d like help with.
- If you just crave a minful few hours in a tranquil setting, learning about the beauty of clay.
You will have my undivided attention, everything will be focused on you, where you are up to in your pottery journey and how I can help you further in your adventures with clay.
I have two wheels so can accommodate two people - its a super fun way to spend a morning/ afternoon with your best chum. You can spend the entire two hours on the wheels if you wish! Choose ‘Lesson for Two People’ from the options below…
Lessons are for adults only at this time.

All lessons are 2 hours and held in my studio in Carlingcott, Somerset.
Includes all materials, firing and glazing of your work from a choice of three glazes (if applicable) once fired, I will post your work to you or you can collect it. Postage included.
Once you have purchased a lesson I will email you within 48hrs. We will have a brief chat about your goals as a maker, what your skill level is and arrange a date and time for your lesson.

To allow for my other studio commitments I need to limit the number of lessons.

I will talk you through health and safety considerations whilst you are attending my workshop but please be mindful of your own safety - I cannot be held responsible for any accidents. By attending one of my workshops you agree to these terms. I am unable to accept bookings for children under 18 at this time.
Cancellations: I am not able to refund any cancellations within 14 days of the lesson date but I do understand things come up so will endeavour to find an alternative date. Lessons can only be re-arranged once.
Covid -19 UPDATE
Please DO NOT attend your lesson if you or anyone close to you has covid/ covid symptoms in the last 10 days, we can rearrange.
All tools will be thoroughly cleaned in between sessions. Weather allowing door and windows will remain open during the lesson.
Face masks or a visor is optional.
