Thrown on the potter's wheel using iron rich clay from St Agnes, Cornwall, this barrel bellied mug sits comfortably in the hand. Glazed in traditional Shino glaze with a splash of slip decorating the walls.
Toasty raw clay is revealed at the base. You can see my finger marks where I gripped the mug during glazing.
Fired to 1300 degrees C/ cone 10
My potter's mark is on the base. The mug in the picture is the one you will receive.
