This large straight sided mug was thrown on the potter's wheel using iron rich clay from St Agnes, Cornwall. Glazed in glossy rutile glaze which mottled blue fingers trail down the sides and breaks into lilac at the rim. The beautiful speckle of the clay beneath shines through.
The toasty raw clay is revealed towards the base.
Fired to 1300 degrees C. The mug you receive may differ slightly from the picture.
My potter’s mark is on the base.
