This lidded pot was thrown in one peice on the potter's wheel using Stafforshire stoneware clay. When it was leather hard the lid was cut off and the gallery trimmed to fit perfectly.
Glazed in Chun glaze I made myself - a quiet lichen green which has pooled in the interior to create gorgeous opal effect where it is thickest.
My potter's mark in on the base. The pot in the picture is the one you will receive.

Dishwasher safe but its kinder to hand wash.
