Second The lid has warped during the firing so doesn't sit as well as it could. It's still beautiful.
This lidded pot was thrown on the potter's wheel in a single peice using iron rich clay from St Agnes, Cornwall. When it was leather hard the lid was cut off and the gallery trimmed to fit.
Glazed in glossy cobalt glaze - a dark mottled blue with crystals and green blooms where it breaks on the edges. The interior has been glazed in an chun blue which creates gorgeous opal effect where it is thickest.
My potter's mark in on the base. The pot in the picture is the one you will receive.
