'Grey Skyes' Pot with Cork

'Grey Skyes' Pot with Cork
The glaze captures the fleeting moments of a Northerly sunset - the warm, fading glow reflecting off the Cullin Mountains, casting shadows that play across the landscape.
With a raw cork lid. A great pot for storing loose leaf tea or whatever you fancy. Hand thrown on the wheel in grey Scandinavian stoneware clay. When leather hard it was fettled and my potter’s mark added.
Glazed with my Glenbrittle glaze; hues of soft, misty blues, gentle greys and subtle pinks meld together, mirroring the ethereal fog that drifts over the peaks of Skye. Twice fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. My maker’s mark is on the base.
The pot in the picture is the pot you’ll receive.
