Made using black stoneware clay. Two separate pieces were thrown on my potters wheel. Once leather hard I trimmed the bowl of the top and the base. At this stage the butter curl is added. Glazed with a beautiful glossy blue glaze which drifts down the form. Twice fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. There are two butter dishes available, both shown in the pictures - you’ll receive either of these.
*The glaze has crawled on the dome, which means there are some thicker and thinner areas but it is still perfectly functional.
My potter’s mark is on the base.

Dinnerware safe. Made with lead free glaze.
Hand wash where possible.
