This pot was thrown from a single piece of clay then cut and carved to create the base and the lid.

Glazed with my glossy ‘Dark Skyes’ glaze; a translucent blue that lets the beauty of the black clay beneath shine through. The glazed has pooled around the base which gives more intense blue tones. Twice fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. My potter’s mark is on the base.

The pot in the picture is the pot you’ll receive.
