Pottery jar with raw cork stopper.

Hand thrown on the wheel with stoneware clay. Once bone dry it was fired to 1060 degrees centigrade.

Glazed with a drippy green-blue crystal glaze on the top third and matt green glaze on the bottom two thirds. The interior has been glazed in transparent. beautiful effect has been created on the rim where the two glazes have merged.

Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade.
My maker’s mark is on the base.
