Sea Salt Mug
Barrel bellied mug thrown on my potter's wheel.
Made from buff stoneware clay it is strong and durable. When the mug is partially dried the base is fettled, a handle and my potter’s mark added. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. I decorate the mug with a speckle white ‘Seas Salt’ glaze and satin white glaze. It is high fired to 1222 degrees centigrade for 24 hours in my kiln.
Each mug is unique and the mug one you receive will vary slightly from the one pictured.

Made with lead free, non toxic glazes.
Dinnerware safe.
Dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing to ensure the longevity of handmade pottery.
