The dip line of raw black clay echos the Outer Hebridean landscapes from which I drew inspiration for this piece.

Hand thrown on my potters wheel using black clay. This teapot is made up of five separate pieces carefully constructed and then left to dry for at least a week. Glazed in glossy subtle dusky glaze with opalescent blues and greys. Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. Finished with a hand wrought brass handle wrapped in jute twine. The teapot in the picture is the teapot you’ll receive. This teapot is an excellent pourer.

My potter’s mark is on the base.

Made using lead free, dinnerware safe glazes.
