Black Skye Mug
Hues of soft, misty blues, gentle grays and subtle pinks meld together, mirroring the ethereal fog that drifts over the peaks of Skye. As the light fades, a deep charcoal emerges at the base, grounding the vessels in the ancient soil of the mountains.
The glaze captures the fleeting moments of a Northerly sunset. The warm, fading glow reflecting off the Cullin Mountains, casting shadows that play across the landscape.
This slightly tapered mug was thrown on the wheel using black stoneware clay. Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. Every mug is unique and will differ slightly from the picture shown.

Made using lead free, dinnerware safe glazes.
Hand wash where possible.
