Granite Jug
Handleless thrown jug.
Handmade on my potter's wheel using fine porcelain clay. I leave it to dry for a day or two and then fettle the base The jug is then left to completely dry for a week. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. Glazed in a satin granite grey glaze on the exterior and a glossy transparent on the interior. The jug is then fired a second time to 1260 degrees centigrade making it strong and durable. My potter’s mark is at the bottom of the handle. The jug in the picture is the teapot you’ll receive.

Made with lead free glazes. Food safe.
Dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing to ensure the longevity of handmade pottery.
