Sennen bud vase, glazed in a copper crystalline glaze.
Named after Sennen Cove, Cornwall. The colour reminiscent of aqua waves crashing on rocks. Part of my 100 vase project, thrown on the wheel using 1 lb of clay. Fired to 1260 degrees centigrade with a special slow cooling which allows the crystals to grow. The vase in the picture is the vase you will receive. My potter’s mark is on the base.
