Hues of soft, misty blues, gentle grays and subtle pinks meld together, mirroring the ethereal fog that drifts over the peaks of Skye. As the light fades, a deep charcoal emerges at the base, grounding the vessels in the ancient soil of the mountains.
The glaze captures the fleeting moments of a Northerly sunset—the warm, fading glow reflecting off the Cullin Mountains, casting shadows that play across the landscape.
The mug handles, curved and inviting, echoes the gentle curves of the hills, offering a connection to the natural world each time it is held.
This slightly tapered mug was thrown on the wheel using black stoneware clay. Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. Every mug is unique. The mug in the pictures is the mug you will receive.
