Lulworth Bowl *Second
Hand thrown bowl, made with buff stoneware clay. It is dried out for a couple of days then a foot ring added. Once dried it was fired to 1060 degrees.
I then decorated it with my glossy subtle pink Lulworth glaze. Named after Lulworth Cove, Dorset. It is high fired to 1220 degrees centigrade for a second time.
*The glaze ran on the base which has been sanded down. You can see this in picture three and four.
Dimensions (all measurements are approx):
Height: 6cm, 2 1/3 inches
Diameter: 11cm, 4 ¼ inches
Made with lead free glazes.
