Stamped Jar Vase II *Sample
Jar Vase with stamped detail.
Thrown on the wheel using 2 kilos of clay. Altered when it was still wet, the vase was ‘stamped’ with a wooden paddled to create the pattern on four sides. Glazed in a glossy Duck Egg Blue glaze on the exterior with a transparent on the interior. Fired to 1260 degrees centigrade. My potter’s mark is on the base.
*There is nothing wrong with this pot. It was a sample I made for a pottery tutorial.
