Perfect for affogato, serving coffee, whiskey and water or individual deserts.
Yunomi and matching tiny jug were thrown on the potter's wheel using iron rich clay from St Agnes, Cornwall. Decorated in a pale clay slip (liquid clay) to add texture whilst the vase was still leather hard.
Glazed in traditional Shino glaze. A splash of slip has picked up some volatile copper from the kiln atmosphere giving the lichen and blue coloured flashing on the side of the yunomi. The inside has been glazed with celadon which has crystals and subtle crackle effect.
Fired to 1300 degrees C.
My potter's mark is on the base. The set in the picture is the one you will receive.

Dishwasher safe but its kinder to hand wash.
