Hand Built Pottery Pumpkins
The pumpkin in the picture is the pumpkin you’ll receive.
Carefully sculpted by hand using buff stoneware clay. After drying out for over a week the pumpkins were fired in my electric kiln to 1060 degrees. After they were cooled they were hand painted with a combination of autumnal glaze colours. The glazes have mingled and merged to create pretty effects. This pumpkin has ginger nut base with a golden hue where the glaze breaks, and a tapenade stalk. Each pumpkin has its own unique character. Fired a second time to 1220 degrees centigrade.
