Skye Nibble Bowl
Hues of soft, misty blues, gentle grays and subtle pinks meld together, mirroring the ethereal fog that drifts over the peaks of Skye. As the light fades, a deep charcoal emerges at the base, grounding the vessels in the ancient soil of the mountains.
The glaze captures the fleeting moments of a Northerly sunset—the warm, fading glow reflecting off the Cullin Mountains, casting shadows that play across the landscape.
Thown from black stoneware clay. Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. The bowl you receive may vary slightly from the pictures.
My potter's mark is on the base.
