Urn shaped vessel.

The shape of this jar was inspired by a set of ginger jars found in a local antique shop.
Perfect for storing loose leaf tea.

Hand thrown on the wheel with grey stoneware clay. Glazed in my Glenbrittle glaze; hues of soft, misty blues, gentle greys and subtle pinks meld together, mirroring the ethereal fog that drifts over the peaks of Skye.

The glaze captures the fleeting moments of a Northerly sunset. The glaze has been poured over the form; a beautiful opalescent effect has been created where the layers have merged.

Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade.
My maker’s mark is on the base. The pot in the picture is the pot you’ll receive.
