This vase is the perfect size for a small posy of flowers from the garden. Thrown on the potter's wheel using iron rich clay from St Agnes, Cornwall. Whilst the vase was still leather hard I decorated it with clay slip (liquid clay) brush strokes to add texture. Glazed in celadon glaze of fern green/grey which has a sutble crackle effect.
Toasty raw clay is revealed towards the base.
The path of the flames is evident where the clay has taken on a slight metallic sheen on one side.
Fired to 1300 degrees C.
My potter's mark is on the base. The vase in the picture is the one you will receive.

Made using lead free, dinnerware safe glazes.
Hand wash where possible.
