Luminous and ethereal like the ocean after a storm.
Two piece set; consisting of an ice-cream bowl and espresso pourer. There are three sets available - each slightly different. You can see each variation in the pictures. I will chose the one you get at random.
Handmade on my potter's wheel using black stoneware clay. I leave it to dry for a day or two and then fettle the bases and add my potter's mark. The forms are then left to completely dry for a week. Once bone dry they’re fired to 1060 degrees centigrade.
I use a combination of two glazes I make myself; a beautiful glossy inky blue and my Glenbrittle glaze. Where the two glazes overlap misty blues, gentle greys and subtle corals meld together.
Fired a second time to 1240 degrees centigrade.

Made with lead free glazes.
Dishwasher safe but its kinder to hand wash.
