Grey Skye Little Milk Jug
This little jug sits comfortably in the palm of your hand, the pinched in neck means no handle is needed giving it a clean yet rustic charm. Great as an oil or sauce pourer.
Handmade on my potter's wheel using grey stoneware clay. I leave it to dry for a day or two and then fettle the base and add my potter's mark. The jug is then left to completely dry for a week. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. I use one of my favourite glazes for this little milk jug; Glenbrittle - the natural speckle of the clay beneath to show through. The jug is then fired a second time to 1220 degrees centigrade making it strong and durable. My potter’s mark is on the base.

Dishwasher safe but it's kinder to hand wash.
