After the Storm Bowl
Thown from black stoneware clay.
I made a batch of these bowls for me and my husband, we enjoyed using them so much I made some extra for you. A great size for soups or porridge. Fettled with generous curve and a foot-ring.
Glazed with a combination of a beautiful glossy ‘Dark Skyes’ and my ‘Glenbrittle’glaze. Where the two glazes overlap misty blues, gentle grays and subtle corals meld together. Luminous and ethereal like the ocean after a storm.
Fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. Each bowl is unique and will vary slightly from the pictures.
My potter's mark is on the base.
