My first ever live make along - a chance for us to get together, connect and chat about the thing we love most; pottery. My plan is to spend an immersive hour or so together online chewing the fat over pots whilst demonstrating some of my studio practices and techniques. You can practice the techniques at the same time as me or you can simply sit with a cuppa and enjoy the chat.

• My Glazing Process

From planning, prepping and glazing a few different forms. Talking you through the steps I take to ensure my glazing sessions go as smoothly as possible as well as some really useful tips I've picked up over the years. If you'd like to glaze alongside me you're going to need to prep a few things: 

Some bisqued pots you'd like to glaze; mug, plate, teapot, yunomi etc... what ever you have to hand that needs glazing.

- At least one litre of pouring glaze of your choice.

- 2 litre jug.

- Large bucket.

- Sand paper or sanding pads.

- Sponge.

- Wax resist and a small-medium size soft paint brush.

I'll be using other bits n bobs throughout the session, though I wont list them all here as you might want to see the technique before deciding to buy the things.
