Warm your cockles with steaming cup of Joe from this beautiful, rustic mug glazed in a frosty blue - green glaze.
Made from stoneware clay it is strong and durable. This handmade mug is thrown on my potter's wheel, when partially dried, the unique shape handle was added. Once bone dry it was fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. I decorated the mug with a green matt glaze with blooms of blue crystals on the outside and glossy transparent on the inside which allows the natural speckle of the clay to shine through. It was high fired for a second time to 1240 degrees centigrade. My potter's mark is on the handle.
