Sennen bud vase, glazed in a copper crystalline glaze.
Named after Sennen Cove, Cornwall. The colour reminiscent of aqua waves crashing on rocks. Part of my 100 vase project, thrown on the wheel using 1 lb of clay. Fired to 1260 degrees centigrade with a special slow cooling which allows the crystals to grow. There are a few small pin holes in this vase, you can see them in the 5th picture, these have been reflected in the price.The vase in the picture is the vase you will receive. My potter’s mark is on the base.
