Gwithian bud vase.
Frothy and playful yet elegant, this Gwithian glaze is inspired by a school of dolphins playing in the bay around Gwithian, Cornwall. The glaze is thinner towards the top allowing the sandy buff of the clay to shine through. Thrown on the wheel using 1lb of clay. Fired to 1260 degrees centigrade. My potter’s mark is on the base.
