Gwithian & white bud vase.
Frothy and playful yet elegant, the Gwithian glaze is inspired by a school of dolphins playing in the bay around Gwithian, Cornwall. A third colour has been created where the two glazes overlap. Thrown on the wheel using 1lb of clay. Fired to 1260 degrees centigrade. There are a few small pin holes in this vase, you can see them in the 5th picture, these have been reflected in the price. There is also a very tiny ‘plucked’ mark on the base. Both of which is reflected in the price of this vase. My potter’s mark is on the base.
