Black Skye Tumbler *Second
Perfect for wine or coffee at home.
Handmade stoneware tumbler, thrown using black clay on the potter's wheel. Glazed in my Glenbrittle glaze; hues of soft, misty blues, gentle grays and subtle pinks meld together, mirroring the ethereal fog that drifts over the peaks of Skye.
Made from black stoneware clay it is strong and durable. When the mug is partially dried the base is fettled and my potter’s mark added. Once bone dry it is fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. It is high fired to 1240 degrees centigrade.
*These tumblers are simply travel mugs which didn’t quite fit the lids.

Dinnerware safe.
Dishwasher safe but I recommend hand washing to ensure the longevity of handmade pottery.
Silicone is not plastic it is made using silica.
