Cornish Tin Mine Tealight - Chalk
Hand-built Mini Cornish Engine House.
Inspired by the engine house at Kilifreth Tin Mine later known as Wheal Busy. There has been mining Cornwall since 16th century; producing copper, tin and arsenic. This engine house is based upon a design built in 1892.
Hand built using Staffordshire clay. Glazed in a satin white glaze and fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. The engine house comes with a tea light. Every one unique - the house you receive may differ slightly from the house in the picture. My potter’s mark is on the back.

Made with lead free glazes. As with all candles - never leave unattended or burn within reach of children or animals.
