Made using grey stoneware clay. Two separate pieces were thrown on my potters wheel. Once leather hard I trimmed the bowl of the top and the base. At this stage the butter curl handle detail is added. Glazed in my Glenbrittle glaze; a subtle pale blue base with soft pink hues at the edges. Twice fired to 1240 degrees centigrade. The butter dish in the pictures is the butter dish you’ll receive.
My potter’s mark is on the base.
